I am a huge fan of quiches. Its my go to for then I want to make an easy meal or for when I have leftovers. With our farm fresh eggs, one of my favorites is a spinach and bacon quiche. You can take this easy recipe below to make with any meat, cheese or veggie combo. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 6 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups chopped fresh baby spinach, packed
- 1 pound bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 1/2 cups shredded swiss or cheddar cheese
- 1 (9-inch) refrigerated pie crust
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F
- Beat eggs; adding in heavy cream, salt & pepper
- Fit pie crust in a 9-inch baking pie dish
- Layer the spinach, bacon, and cheese in the bottom of the pie crust, then pour the egg mixture on top
- Bake for 35 to 45 minutes until the egg mixture is set and crust is golden brown
